Statement
As an artist, I work in shamanic and alchemical traditions. My visual journeys are ventured into the very underpinnings of the cosmos, capturing quantum consciousness in visually accessible forms. I attack my canvas with vehemence and joy. During the creative process, my very being is ensnared in the transmutation of our planet's energies. From glorious landscapes to the gritty underbelly of New York City, if you watch and wait long enough, you will feel my creation in your body, and in your heart.

Biography
Jonathan Herbert's artwork has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and cultural centers in the United States and in Europe, including the Chimera Gallery in Nashua, New Hampshire, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. In New York City his work has been shown at the Kentler International Drawing Center and Greenpoint Gallery in Brooklyn, Nico Smith Gallery, the Frank Marino Gallery, and Madame X in Manhattan. In addition, Herbert's paintings and works on paper are in private and corporate collections, including those of Pfizer, Inc., Kirkland and Ellis, and Jonathan Barry & Associates.
